About Me

Aaron Hobbs is a freelance technical director, stage manager, and designer from Lynchburg, Virginia. With a BA in Dance from James Madison University and previous experience as a telecommunications engineer, Aaron’s talents and interests expand across a broad array of disciplines. Aaron’s work is fueled by a powerful curiosity about the world, and he is always hunting for new collaborators and challenging projects.

His most recent credits were as a guest artist for his alma mater, and include Associate Lighting Designer on the opera Dialogues of the Carmelites, Production Stage Manager for New Dance Festival, and Deck Manager for The Play that Goes Wrong.
